Challenges of leading a Small Church

Pastors, we understand that small churches have a variety of needs, but here are some of the most common challenges we have found talking to Pastors just like you:
  1. Financial resources: Small churches often struggle with limited financial resources. They may need help with budgeting, fundraising, and managing expenses.

  2. Leadership development: Small churches may lack the resources to provide ongoing training and support for their leaders. They may need help with developing leadership skills, team building, and strategic planning.

  3. Outreach and evangelism: Small churches may struggle with reaching out to their communities and sharing the Gospel. They may need help with developing outreach strategies, creating evangelism programs, and building relationships with their neighbors.

  4. Technology and digital media: Small churches may lack the resources and expertise to effectively use technology and digital media to reach their congregations and communities. They may need help with website development, social media marketing, and live streaming services.

  5. Worship and music: Small churches may need help with developing their worship and music programs. They may need assistance with selecting appropriate songs, training musicians and singers, and creating a worshipful atmosphere.

  6. Building maintenance and renovation: Small churches may struggle with maintaining and renovating their buildings due to limited financial resources. They may need help with assessing the condition of their buildings, identifying needed repairs, and finding resources to complete the work.

  7. Community support and resources: Small churches may need help connecting with community resources and services. They may need assistance with finding volunteers, partnering with local organizations, and advocating for the needs of their community.
